MASTERCARD & CAPITAL ONE: PRICELESS SURPRISES
Unlocking Doors to Adventure
MasterCard and Capital One wanted to show their Massachusetts customers a little love. So we created a campaign that gave them the ultimate priceless surprise: the opportunity to "unlock" global adventures, and their debit cards were the key. We generated awareness by dropping custom larger-than-life doors around Boston—along with opera singers, martial artists, beefeaters, plein air painters, and other trappings representing the four destinations: Hong Kong, London, Paris, and Rome. Cardholders could swipe their cards to open the doors, and they’d get a notification on their Capital One mobile app confirming they were now entered to win.
After the grand prize winners were selected, we teamed up with Adam Richman (of Man v. Food fame) to help sweeten the surprise.
